To introduce IKEA to the Philippine market, we created a campaign rooted in everyday Filipino life—tapping into local quirks, habits, and household dynamics to show how IKEA’s home furnishing solutions fit right in. Told through three genre-inspired short films—horror, teleserye, and sci-fi—we dramatized familiar scenarios in an entertaining, hyperlocal way. From plastic-wrapped sofas that kill the mood during date night, to grandmas with creepy doll collections, and the national guessing game of “what’s really in the ice cream tub”—each film reimagines these cultural truths with a humorous twist, then resolves them with a simple, smart solution from IKEA. The result? A campaign that not only showcases IKEA products, but also earns a knowing nod from every Filipino who’s lived through these moments.
